What are the dimensions of the Luvali Convertible bags?
Dimensions:

  • The Chic Bag – 11”wide x 5” high
  • The Classic Bag – 11” wide x 8” high
  • The Tote – 14” wide x 11” high

How long does shipping take?
Check out the "Shipping Time" section at the bottom of this page for information on shipping.

What is your cancellation policy?

Orders canceled before the order has been shipped (most orders ship within 24 hours) are entitled to a full refund. Orders canceled after the order has been shipped are entitled to a refund less shipping and handling.

What is your return policy?

For any items ordered from www.luvali.ca we gladly accept returns or exchanges within the first 30 days of placing your order and if the items are still in new condition. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please contact Luvali within 30 days of the date of purchase to initiate a return request and authorization.
To return a product, please first contact us at customerservice@luvalibag.com to arrange for approval. Please include the date of original purchase, order number, and items being returned. A Luvali representative will contact you within 3-business days with approval or denial.
All returned product must be in original condition and free of damage. All returns are subject to prior approval of Luvali.ca. Items returned without approval of Luvali.ca may not be eligible for return or exchange. When returning product, the return shipping is the burden of the customer.
Luvali products ordered at a retail location must be returned to the point of purchase – no exceptions. If you have trouble finding contact information for the original seller, please contact us at customerservice@luvalibag.com for assistance.

What is your exchange policy?

Here at Luvali we want you to be happy with your purchase, which is why if you’re not satisfied we do offer you the opportunity to exchange your items. In the event you would like to exercise an exchange just contact us at customerservice@luvalibag.com to arrange for exchange approval. Before initiating an exchange please review the following guidelines:

1. All items must be returned in original condition and in the original packaging.
2. Luvali.ca does not cover return shipping costs and consumer agrees to arrange shipping of product to Luvali.ca.
3. Refund and exchange requests outside of the 30-day purchase window will not be honored.
Provided the aforementioned guidelines are met, feel free to contact us about your exchange and please include the date of original purchase, order number, and items being returned in the body of the email. A Luvali representative will contact you within 3 business days with approval or denial of your exchange request. Items returned without approval of Luvali.ca may not be eligible for exchange.
Luvali products ordered at a retail location or home show must be returned to the point of purchase – no exceptions.
Customers seeking an exchange will receive a one-time credit towards new product of equal or lesser value.

Does Luvali offer Gift Certificates?

Unfortunately we do not offer gift certificates at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What opportunities are available if I would like to become involved with Luvali?

We have many exciting opportunities available depending on your desired level of commitment. What materials are used to create Luvali Convertibles?
The exterior of all of our bags are made out of 100% nylon and platinum hardware.

What are the sizes of the Luvali convertible handbags?
We currently offer the “Chic” (small), the “Classic” (medium) and the “Tote” (large). For dimensions and handbag details go to Choose your Handbag and Reversible Slip.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card.

How do I change the slips for Luvali?
The change instructions vary slightly depending on which size bag you have. Please navigate to the appropriate bag for exact instructions. Alternately, you can also visit the following link for a photo tutorial on changing the slips for your Luvali Bag: How Does it Work.

The “Chic” (small handbag)
1. Unzip the slip;
2. Slide slip completely off handbag;
3. Turn slip inside out and slide on handbag (make sure your handbag is sitting snugly in the bottom of the slip before rezipping!);
4. Rezip and off you go….a new handbag!

The “Classic” (medium handbag)
1. Unzip the slip;
2. Unbutton the slip on each side of your handbag;
3. Slide the handles out of the slit on each side of your handbag;
4. Remove the slip;
5. Turn slip inside out (or remember you can use handbag without a slip!);
6. Slide slip on handbag, slip handles through slits and rebutton;
7. Rezip and off you go….a new handbag!

The “Tote” (large tote)
1. Unzip the reversible slip;
2. Undo side bows and slide ribbon out of grommets (the silver holes!);
3. Slide the handles out of the slit on each side of your tote;
4. Remove the reversible slip;
5. Turn reversible slip inside out (or remember you can use tote without a slip!);
6. Slide slip on tote and slip handles through slits;
7. Thread ribbon back through grommets (the silver holes!) and tie the bows;
8. Rezip and off you go….a new tote!

Here at Luvali we thrive off of suggestions from our customers and we love to hear from you so please don’t hesitate to contact us with a suggestion or feedback. How do I clean Luvali products?

Luvali Convertible Handbags

Each hand tailored Luvali handbag and Luvali reversible slip has been made for you with care. For overall cleaning of your Luvali handbag, we recommend wiping with a damp wet cloth. For overall cleaning of your Luvali reversible slip, we recommend hand washing in cold water, laying flat to dry. We do not recommend machine washing. It is also recommended that you spray your Luvali reversible slips with a clear, non-toxic, waterproof shoe sealant to prolong the life of your reversible slips. Luvali is not responsible for damage due to everyday wear and tear. Luvali is not responsible for the fading and shrinkage of Luvali reversible slips over time and use. Luvali Convertible Hats

Each hand tailored Luvali reversible hat has been made for you with care. For overall cleaning of your Luvali reversible hat, we recommend hand washing in cold water, lay flat to dry. Due to the intricate embroidery, we do not recommend machine washing. Luvali is not responsible for damage due to everyday wear and tear. Company Questions

How do you say Luvali?
“Luvali” pronounced “Luv-A-lee”, originates from the words “Love” and “Ali” (the founders’ daughter and granddaughter). Say “Luvali” fast and it sounds like “lovely”- a great way to describe our unique and fabulous product line! Luvali is “The Reversible Company”.

What is the story behind Luvali?
Shirley and Jacqueline are a mother and daughter team with a passion for design, a drive to create and a love for working together. Our products are convertible, reversible, changeable…and truly lovely or “luvali”.

While packing for a much needed vacation, we were struggling with too many handbags and too many shoes! Our suitcases just wouldn’t close. Needless to say, a second suitcase was required since going with one handbag and one pair of shoes just wasn’t an option. It was at that moment that the entrepreneurial light bulb went on. Why not create one handbag with interchangeable slipcovers (we call them slips) that can change with your wardrobe, your mood or the season? Bring one handbag, lots of REVERSIBLE slips and you have many looks, day or night, for your vacation or your cruise! To top it off, no need to empty your contents to change your handbag AND if your handbag gets soiled, just slide on another slip or reverse it-fabulous!!

After countless visits to fabric stores and many late night tea parties, Luvali Convertibles was born (and so were Jacqueline and Shirley as newfound mompreneurs and grandmapreneurs respectively)!

We have since been inspired to expand Luvali Convertibles by the little people in their lives- Ali, Jack and Owen. Luvali has grown to include some wonderful convertible, reversible and changeable items for babies and kids at Luvali Baby & Kids. So unique, delightful and charming – we know you’ll just “luv” ‘em.

Return Policy

Holiday Return Policy

Luvali offers an extended return policy for all purchases made between November 1st-December 31st. Items purchased within this time frame are eligible for refund or exchange if returned and received by Luvali by January 31st. All returns or exchanges must be in the original packaging and free of any signs of use, wear, or tear. Product returned after the January 31st deadline will not be eligible for a refund or exchange and the product will be returned to the customer at the customers’ expense. To initiate a holiday return and gain the proper authorization please contact us at customerservice@luvalibag.com. Returns received without prior authorization will not be honored.

Cancellation Policy

Gift Certificates

Unfortunately we do not offer gift certificates at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Shipping Time

Shipping usually takes around 5-7 business days, depending on where you are in the United States or Canada. We ship all US orders via UPS or USPS for PO Box addresses and all Canada orders via Canada Post.

Orders placed Monday-Friday will be shipped the following business day pending availability and credit verification. Orders placed on Friday will begin processing on the following Monday. A Luvali representative will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification. Express 2 day shipping is available at an additional charge but please keep in mind that the 2 day time frame DOES NOT start the day the order is placed; the package will be sent 2nd day air on the following business day so please plan accordingly. Also, most mail carriers do not deliver packages on Saturday or Sunday so please bear this in mind if you need to receive your package within a certain time frame. We do e-mail you your shipping number as soon as your order ships out, if you do not receive a shipping notification please e-mail us at customerservice@luvalibag.com for the status of your order.

DELIVERY TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS OR HOLIDAYS

Refused Shipments

If you decide to refuse any shipments from Luvali.ca, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Luvali.ca. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.
